KEYBOARDS – SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL – microBLUE02 is a collection of keyboard performance sounds recorded using a SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL, featuring 55 files at 24bit / 96kHz.

This library captures a wide range of keystrokes and input interactions, from controlled single presses to continuous typing sequences, along with additional hardware controls unique to the keyboard.

Keyboard and Switch Characteristics:
The SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL features OmniPoint 2.0 adjustable magnetic switches.
These switches enable significantly faster input compared to conventional mechanical keyboards, based on continuous actuation and reset detection rather than fixed points.
This results in a crisp and tightly controlled keystroke character, with minimal latency between presses and releases.

Arrow key sequences (fast / slow patterns)
Hands on and off the keyboard (multiple variations)
Backspace key (single and repeated presses)
Delete key (single and repeated presses)
Enter key (hard and medium variations)
Space bar (hard and medium variations)
Key combinations (Shift + I, Period + Enter)
Media control button presses
Media control dial rotations
Random typing sequences (short, medium, and long durations with multiple speed variations)

All files include UCS-compliant metadata for use in SoundMiner and other sound library tools.
